Garden Ring Statistics

A friend of mine identified the construction date of every single building in the Moscow city center for a school project, and I added color and statistics. As it turns out, 68% of the houses were built before 1917, which is when the Revolution happened. This means that most of these houses have been around since the Russian Empire!

I used my still raw cyrillic version the GT Lena typeface for the title and dates.

Design Museum

Last week we went to the Maslenitsa festival in London, but it was so thoroughly disappointing that we wandered off and stumbled upon the Design Museum, which had only one floor open. When we were leaving it started to rain, and the only really successful part of the day was buying fresh Krispy Kreme donuts by the London Bridge Station.
